For strength and better mobility, the shirt is constructed with a double-layer yoke and a box-pleat center back. The characteristic geometric pattern is inspired by ancient Aztek traditions. The symbolic designs of the Aztecs were often rectangular and circular geometric shapes, recurring in long, symmetrical lines, and made with the purpose of worshipping their gods. This symbology allowed patterns to express a message while being decorative, and today we have kept a fascination of the designs, while losing the original meaning of Aztec patterns
