Holy Smokes & Charred Woods smells like a burning hymn, glowing through smoke and shadow. Cade and birch hit first with the dry heat of charred timber. Resinous labdanum drips through the flames, while clove, dark amber, and elemi add a warm, almost sacred intensity. As the smoke clears, Java vetiver and cedarwood remain: dry, earthy, and dark around the edges. Like embers on your clothes after a night you are not ready to explain.

About the brand BOOGIE BOUGIE was founded in Antwerp in 2021 with a simple belief: fragrance has the power to change how a space feels. We create scents for spaces, memories and states of mind. Sometimes warm and familiar, sometimes unexpected or a little strange. We like contrasts, character and fragrances that leave something behind — in a room and in your head. Made in Antwerp, from wax to flame. Our atelier is where BOOGIE BOUGIE becomes something you can light. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in our Antwerp atelier. Here, we develop, test and fine-tune our candles ourselves — balancing wax, fragrance and flame until everything comes together. |
